Of course, you already know the basics: use metrics and data to understand your audience. Who's reading your content? Who's clicking? Who's converting?

But here's the thing: there's always a secret audience you're not directly writing for, but they’re still watching. And they matter more than you think.

Let’s say you work at a major consumer bank. Your obvious audiences?

 ✅ Existing clients

 ✅ Potential customers

But what about...

Â đŸ‘©â€đŸ’Œ Potential new hires? Will your website or social media make them want to join your team?

Â đŸ‘šâ€đŸ’» Your current employees? Will they feel proud to share your content or disconnected from it?

👀 Competitors? What do they see when they check your brand presence?

Are you showing what sets you apart?

You’re not creating content for them, but your content still speaks to them.

So, when you build your strategy, ask:

“Who else is seeing this, and what will they take away from it?”
